4-7" is a very broad range and a LOT of lift. I'm not sure what you mean by "look" either. All I get from that is that it's probably not going to be wheeled but the only way to get a 4-7" lift look is to...well lift it 4-7".

Fabtec or Rancho answer

I completely understand what you are saying. I have already called the sales dept's and tech dept's at Rancho and Fabtec to ask WHEN they are coming out with lift kits for 03 + 4Runners. The response was that the 4Runners are very expensive grocery getters that the majority of people don't want to spend the $ on to lift. That is rediculous to me! The FJ's specs are so similar to the 4Runners, how hard woudl it be to just modify the existing template for the FJ kit to fit our Runners? There has go to be a market for Fabtec/Rancho/etc in the 4" to 6" range. "If they build it, we will come"...no pun intended, of course.

you could do the Old Man Emu Prado lift which will get you around 3 inches and add a 1" body lift (roger brown style).

Q's re OME Kit and Tire Fitment

I just purchased the OME kit from Slee. With aftermarket wheels and 285's, do the tires rub at full flex? Do you think that 275/70/17's would be better? Also, how much drop in power do you have with a V6 and 285's?

i had to do a good deal of trimming in the liner and they still rubbed on the front bumper a little but really only on pavement. Just replaced my front bumper with an ARB and the started rubbing on the back of the front wells (probably due to the extra weight), but thanks to some trimming back there they don't seem to be rubbing anymore.

No noticable drop in power, however I completed the lift and tires only 1000 miles after I got my runner.

Don't go with a POS rancho or fabtech lift. Go with the OME suspension and a Roger Brown 1" to 2" at the most body lift

if you want that much lift, you will have to get the FJ fabtech and modify it to fit.

thats a lot of lift and freakin waste of money, if you want 4-7 inchs, go buy a fullsize truck with a solid axle like the ford or dodge superduty.

That's the best advice. If you want 7" of useful lift, SAS your 4Runner
