2005 Tacoma Suspension Options

Here are some of the shocks I have used on my ride...

I worked for FOX Racing during the development of their bolt in Coil-Over kit and I just wanted to express how great of an improvement I have gained. I found that removing the sway bar gains .75" of droop travel with a Uni-Ball upper arm- with a total of 13.25" Of wheel Travel.....

Before I had the Fox coil overs I had the Bilstein Pre Load Adjustable shocks to level the truck out. It was a slightly better ride than my O.E. yellow Bilstiens, but still wasnt enough for the "Big Stuff" off road. But for anyone who's looking for a great ride and to level your truck out- this is the way to go! DONT USE THE CRAPPY COIL SPACERS! They add preload to the original equipment that was not designed for that application. Bilstien has engineered these shocks with the propper valving and travel along with a larger diameter shock body that the TRD yellows.

The next plan for my ride is to try the KING Performance kit. I am one of there largest distributors and it only makes sense to be able to sell there product with confidence. I am currently looking to sell my FOX kit to replace it with the KING set up and then I will have a educated answer to which "works" the best...

This is just my opinion, but I have sold allot of all of these kits with customers favoring one over the other just like the all time Ford vs. Chevy battle.

If anyone is interested in any of my shocks check me out online-
