I am looking to replace my stock 265/65/17's on my 2004 SR5 with larger tires. I have heard that this can mess up the ABS system as well as other sensors. I am looking to see how large of a tire i can put on without rubbing or loosing a lot of power. I thinking of putting 265/75/17's but I am not sure if they would rub too much or if at all. I am open to any suggestions for tire sizes and /or brands.

 

I know for a fact that 265/70/17s will not rub and I haven't heard that members running that have had problems with ABS Sensors. Running a larger tire will screw with your speedometer and odometer so keep that in mind..

 

I put 265/70/17 Revos on mine... I am very happy with them, they don't rub, and ABS works fine.

 

love the yokohama geolander AT+II tires. great all-around performance and smooth riding as well.

 

 

i just put a set of michelin ltx m/s 265-70-17 on one and it fit fine
