I recently have been looking at getting another 4Runner. The max I want to spend is 18,000. I was mainly looking at low milage 3rd gen. I came across this 04 SR5 silver 64,000 miles V8 good condition. Needs brakes and tires soon. It also has a toyota warranty good til 100,000 miles. The only issues he has had with it is the sunroof stopped working. He took it in and the warranty paid for it but it still does not work properly. I told him I would be interested after he had it fixed. What do you guys think of the price? The interior is in very good cond except the drivers seat has a sag (like a spring is off) and he is going to see if the warranty covers it. Thanks for any help with year and model.

I think its a little higer than private party blue book. Having bought a couple of 4Runners in the past it seem to matter what the market brings not what the book says. I know the stealers in this area would want at least 22,000 to 23,000 for it and it would only have a 3,000 mile warranty. There just isnt to many private party sales to compare it to.

It's an okay price, but the sunroof and seat should be in good condition. If he can't fix those, offer him like 15.5k or something like that.
