06 tacoma coils

I have an 06 taco trd dbl cab 4x4.I looked at the front coils the othere day and noticed the top two coils that have a plastic cover on them were touching each othere.Seems like there was a gap between them when I first bought it.The truck only has 1,100 miles on it.Is this normal or are they starting to sag already and I need to take it back to the dealer. My othere truck a 2002 tacoma dbl cab coils never did this. The 06 is stock and has the stock bumper an no added weight to the front end.Should I be concerned about it.It rides great but if there defective I need to get them replaced. Thanks for any ideas on this.

I am pretty sure this is just from settling. Mine did it too. My truck was actually a little lower after a few hundred miles of driving then when I bought it. It shouldn't get worse for many many more miles. And by then you will have been bitten by the bug and installed a lift, wheels, tires, winch, lockers.......what was I talking about?

Oh yeah...don't worry about it.

No lift, Im no spring chicken anymore. This thing rides great and I dont want to mess that up.I have an 02 dbl cab 4x4 to play with. Thanks for the help.It did just like yours. It settled and dropped about an 1/2 inch.I was just curious. My 02 never did that till I put the arb bumper and winch on it.Then I had to put the adjustable coil overs on it to compensate for it.I think Im going to just leave this one alone.I bought it to pull a bass boat.If it sags too much I might put the adjustable coil overs on it.Thats about it. Thanks for the quick reply fellas.Have a good one.
