Angry 06 4runner brake problems?

Hi all, been reading here for a while but never posted.

Anyway, the question I have is whether anyone has experienced a delay in the rear brakes kicking in?

Reason I ask is because I just went out to pull the 4runner in the garage and as I drove it into the stall I pressed the brake pedal and it just kept going until it slammed into my work bench on the back wall. Left a bit of a dent on the bumper cover (which we just had replaced a little over a month ago due to another little incident) but not terribly noticeable. The ground outside is snow covered right now and the garage floor had been swept clean just a few minutes prior so the floor conditions were pretty slick.

I played around with it for a bit driving back and forth and it seemed to keep doing it but not quite as bad. I had my wife out in the garage with me and she said that the fronts locked up immediately with the brake lights coming on, but that the rears kept on spinning for a split second. I realize there is power to the rears but at idle I would expect them to lock up immediately, not keep spinning long enough to drive forward another 6+ feet until it hits something. I then went out on the highway and drove it a little bit, I slammed on the brakes and on the dry pavement there was no noticeable problem.

I'm not sure if this is normal or if I need to get it in to have the brake system checked out.

Planning on calling the dealership tomorrow. Any problems should be covered by the warranty unless they try to void it due to it having a 2.5"/1.5" daystar lift and nitto stock + 1" tires.

And I'd have that Towed to the dealership as I would not want to drive that thing on the streets. If you do drive it, please post your route and time that you are leaving so I can stay at home - LOL

I just got off the phone with the service tech. He didn't seem to think aything one way or the other. His advice was to try it out on the street without any other vehicles around before going too far from home.

I'm going to put it up on jack stands tonight and put it in gear to see if there is any braking power going to the rears at all. At idle I would fully expect it to stop immediately.
