05' 4x4 DblCabTacoma w/3" Toytec Lift
I just installed a 3" Toytec lift today! I think it looks great and will look even better after I get new BFG A/T 285/75R16 tires. Check it out.

any 16x8 with a BS of 4.5 and 0 offset will do nicely on the wheels (will clear breaks with these spec). As for tires, any tire you're attached to will work. If you plan to hit some trails look into some nice aggressive tires. Have you checked out Nitto tires btw? I'm considering those for the road (A/T).

That is good to know, thanks for the help!
Yes, I have looked at the Nitto A/T tires. My brother, has purchased them before and he said that he thinks they are the best truck tire that he has tried and the price on Nitto's is great. Cost is always a big factor so my bet is that Nitto A/T's will be on my truck next. I really like the look of BFG A/T, but at a savings of about $50 per tire, I am not sure I can justify the extra cost for the BFG's.

When I went in to purchase my Tacoma, the Dealer only had Sport models in stock, but I wanted the Off Road model. To get me into a Sport, they had to put the Off Road wheels on a Sport.
I like the looks of the Off Road wheels and I like the fact that the 16" tires cost less. I think they are better for four wheeling too, but I think that has more to do with the tires than the wheels. I am not a serious four wheeler, but I like to go for drives on the back roads in the mountains and desert when I have time.

nice truck! How do you like the dcab? I am thinking of getting my wife one as the grocery getter and kid hauler. That way we don't have to call dibs on the 4runner for the weekends.

I like the D cab a lot. It's a little tight in the back seat for an adult and since I am a big guy, it get's cramped when I have to move forward so an adult can sit in the back, but my kids are young and I use it mostly for driving to work and hauling the motox bikes so for me, it is a great vehicle. Especially, since the mileage is so good in comparison to the large trucks.

I am 6"3" and almost 240, I can't slide my seat all the way back when driving. You would have to have legs that were 38+ inches long to do that, it really seems excessive to me. That being said the rear seat legroom is in my opinion much better than the previous generations my friend who is 6'2" has no problem sitting in the back seat of my truck, 4 normal sized adults fit well in the truck, we commonly use mine for camping and have had to cram 4 adults and all of our luggage (clothes) into the truck once during a rainstorm. I can put my son's forward facing car seat behind me (and not move my seat) and he still has plenty of room, for reference he is 3' and has a very large toddler seat. His feat just make contact with my seatback.
