03 4Runner seat rattle
My drivers seat just started to rattle. If you sit in the seat and rock back and forth the whole seat moves. If your standing outside the truck and grab the back part of the seat it moves back and forth. The bottom part of the seat where your thighs would be also rattles. I see on AllData there is a TSB for 'Front Seat Squeak/Creak Noise' #NV010-02. I guess this is a common problem. I've read about people having noises from the rear seat not the front. Anyone else have this problem ?
This adds to the list for the dealer,
(1) pulley noise when cold TSB
(2) when braking, the truck seems like its still accelerating,
(3) front seat noises

Mine doesn't rattle but it moves. I notice that when I brake or accelerate hard that the seat will slightly move and make a noise. It's as if the seat isn't locked into position on the rail correctly. I hate going to the dealer but I may have to in order to get it fixed.
Has anyone had the TSB done on their seats? If so, what does the dealer do to correct the problem?

Here's an update..
The truck was at the dealer on friday for the fuel pulsation damper, engine noise when on cold start and the front seat rattle.
The truck had to stay overnight because the new belt tensioner was making more noise than the original
and they had to get one from another dealer. As for the seat rattle they installed a 'retro-kit' to stop the seat from moving. The advisor said if it still moves he will order new seat rails. Well its not 100% so they will get a call on monday. Ahh the joys of a new truck....
