WooHoo!!!
Finally got the darn truck running for nearly 9 months sitting inside the garage, WooHoo~!
Well I have money issue at time and kept on buying the wrong parts for it so finally on last two weeks ago on Thursday the cylinder head finally arrived at home and got it install on Saturday, and after the cylinder head was install I now have to put all those top on, took me nearly a week to finish the top end, all this work was on my own no one esle except the header and crossover pipe that my brother and I work on for nearly two hours. So finally got it start on the last Saturday at 4 AM in the morning, well it was the first crank or start and when it start, it didn't start right up it miss or hesitating, dieing so my father said hey you need to move that distributor to play with it until it run so I did and you know what it RUN! next day I timing it to 10 degree and went on a test drive, it run stronger, no longer looses coolant, idle better, at 3k rpm it have power, can now pass a few car's, love it now, if you say will I do this again? naw. I bet the previous owner shouldn't sold it to me... it was running bad cause he was old, didn't take good care of the truck, apparently when I bought it there were no oil shown up on the dipstick just a sludge buildup.
The repair has cost me $1,500 including those gasket stuff, etc.
The parts replaced are the 2 cylinder head which are already machine to its spec. Knock Sensor, KS wire ( NO MORE code 52 ), ECU or ECM.
I;m just too happy to post this thread sorry for your time here...
Here are a few picture I took,
