woo check engine light post!

its my first time posting one of these so go easy on me!

I shorted the diag. box and got 6 flashes pause 10 flashes.

Looking through my book I wasn't able to find anything that matched that...

any help?

I have a book for an '88 I drive an '87 I was wondering if the codes were different. I'm not trying to be a jerk... but.. maybe you could count them better for me?

Oh. You are correct. 6 and 10. I missed the part where you had an '87.

'85-'87 22res have codes from 2-11 (or is it 12?)

'88-'95 have them from 11+, not using all numbers.

Or in other words, only double digit number codes.

maybe I'm understanding this diagnostic wrong... could it be a code 6 and a code 10??
