Won't start again
I'm still pretty new to this forum, but I hope someone has seen this problem before. I did a HG about 3 months ago and replaced the timing chain and guides and also the the fuel filter. I put about 150 miles on my truck and it ran great. I always put my truck in the garage until I got the burglar alarm on it. Thats done, put on another 50 or so miles and parked in the street. Now it starts but only runs for about 5 seconds then dies, checked the grounds their good pulled the fuel line and have gas after the the fuel filter. It acts like it's starving for gas. Does anyone have anything else I can check????

air-flow meter: http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTricks/AFM/index.shtml
there's a switch inside that should activate the fuel pump once the engine is running and sucking air through it
I'm guessing though cause you didn't say what year, etc., your vehicle is.

Thanks Abecedarian!! I have an 86 pickup with a 22re. I went and checked the AFM and the readings weren't right, but I did find a pinched wire after fixing that it started right up. Thank you very much for steering me in the right direction!!
