So the other day I was using the wipers and I noticed that they were very slow but functional... I just put it down to a dry dirty windshield, but today when I went to use them they went halfway up and stalled. I checked the fuse and it is good so its not that, and there is no motor noise of any kind and the wipers will not move manually so its not a broken linkage issue either.
Does anybody have any ideas what the problem could be?

EDIT: Problem solved the linkage was binding and in need of lubrication also the contacts on the motor plug were a little corroded. Wipers are functional again.
