Windshield washer pump
The pump in my truck is totally rotten and has just fallen apart.
I tried to look up the OEM part number and there are two different ones depending on whether it is "cold weather spec" or not. I have absolutely no idea and every Toyota dealer I call says my VIN number doesn't exist any longer so they can't tell me.
Are the two pumps physically a different size? Will they interchange? I'm even looking for a used one as long as I know it would fit/work.

The cold weather spec rigs have a reservoir with a long fill neck and the reservoir hides in the cowl/wheel well.
Use the change vehicle here to put in your rigs spec and then go to electrical, windshield washer.
Or by VIN:
http://www.toyomotorparts.com/
There may be only one pump listed for you rig as there is for mine (both cold and normal spec use the same pump).
BTW, the fill neck on my rigs reservoir developed tons of spider cracks recently so I replaced it too.
You VIN is likely still listed but the parts folks, well..........

My washer reservoir is in front of the battery behind the grill so it sounds like I can safely assume it is NOT cold weather spec then.
Toyotapartszone.com also doesn't recognize my VIN number. My VIN starts with JT4RN64, but the plate under the hood identifies it as a RN66 body type. I normally go by RN66 and that usually gets me close enough.
Thanks again!!!!

Welcome! Glad to help.
What year and specs for your rig? I'm thinking you may have posted in the wrong year section if you have a '86 or so pickup truck.
The long fill neck info was based on the 95.5 Tacoma/96 4Runner forum section posting.

Well, I just noticed that I'm in the wrong forum. (Fat fingered on this tablet.)
I have a 1986 LWB, standard cab SR5, 4X4, 5 speed, that was originally EFI, but now lives with a carb. Whew!!!!! That's a lot to say!
(Mods, please move me over to the 86=95 when you get a chance.)

Does this one fit right in to the factory hole at the bottom of the reservoir? (Soldering the wire is the easy part.)
