Will '89 4Runner body fit '86 pickup frame?

Will '89 4Runner body fit '86 pickup frame?
hey people im the curent owner of an 86 toy pu lookin to convert my truck into a 1st gen 4 runner allready got the rear cab section of an 89 runner has anyone done this b4 and how much work am i getting into an also if anyones got an old trekker to get rid of lookin for one of those as well

So, your thread title states "84 to 88 swap", and then your post reads that you have a '86 and want to swap on a '89 cab.
It might not matter to much, but which years are you looking to actually swap?

well my truck is an 86 4x4 the runner cab is an 89 the reason i said 84 to 88 is that the body fits 84 to 88 just wondering is how much work am i into since i only have the rear of the cab on the runner from the door jambs back
