you might need to crank down your t-bars. the idea of the BJ spacers is so that you can relax the t-bars for more flex while maintaining some the ride height. at least that was my understanding

Pics might help everyone diagnose what you've got going on. I was running a 4inch Pro Comp lift and still have the original boots. I say was running because I put in manual hubs like you mentioned a few weeks ago.

Yet another happy shout out for Wabfab!

ill get some pics first light, but not much just two torn boots with grease ALL over.
oh and my front end is shot so bad they wouldn't align the truck after the ball joint lift, so ive been ridding around a like that

So you are tearing boots like crazy and all you've got in the front end for lift is the bj spacers?

There is another problem there somewhere. I've had mine in for months, and wheel it, and I've never torn a boot.

You tore the boot the day after you replaced it?

Is there something sharp around the boot that maybe cutting it?

What's wrong with the front end? Is it just the shop saying it's "shot"? If so go somewhere else, I had a similar issue with an alignment shop and all they were doing was trying to make bank on me by replacing a pile of parts. I went down the street to a local place and got it done that day with no issues.

Check out this thread, it could help! This makes me not excited about bj spacers... we'll see though.

Hope you get things fixed for next weekend! I'm excited!

I'm not certain, but I think he meant his axle pulled out of the tulip during the install. Its not a big deal, and its only a matter of wiggling it around to get it to go back in.

Alot of seperated boots I have run into are from too much positive camber(top of the wheel leans too far out of the wheel well) . I never saw new ones tear, just pull off of the cv joint.

Why not stop by your local friendly Nix99 and pick up a set of manual hubs?

I bet they would even let you use the credit from returning that AFM
