And umm, Mr Wabbit,
With all due respect, I cannot for the life of me find a name called in that post. Unless you consider "duh" or "geez" name calling.
He was referring to an earlier post in this thread....

wow.. this escalated fast lol.... i honestly doubt there is a single engine out there that doesnt have its quirks, i work on alot of industrial diesel engines at my work, mainly IZUZU. from what i have seen you can literaly have two sister engines ( just a digit or two off on the SN#s) and one with last 10,000+ hours of opperation (they are in excavators and log loaders) and the other will barley hit 5,000 hours befor having a serious issue that will end in a full rebuild. no one can tell when they buy a vehicle weather its got a defect in the block, head, crank, rods, ect. that could possibly cause a future issue. i guess some people get lucky and miss out on the "issues" .. and some dont

So I said "panty wadders", is that really immature name calling or am I just simply callzing it likes I seez it?
I did'nt plan on the post turning this way but I knew it would. I tried my best to keep it civil in spite of all the people that got so upset because I questioned their favorite engine design.
Thanks to all who shared their experience with the 22re and didn't get all silly about it. I'm done.

A head gasket is not an easy "weekend" job if you warp the heads.
