White smoke...whats wrong?
Well I have a brand new rebuilt 22rte. Put the engine together a while back and has it idle for a while and all was good. Didnt start it for 2 or 3 months while I was building a cage for it. I took it out today and it ran ok and going down the road white smoke started pouring out of the exhaust. The turbo had a slight bit of shaft play before I put it on but didnt think it would be bad. The compression if 118 120 105 120....Any ideas of what could be wrong? Im almost positive its the turbo. Any help would be appreciated. I have to have it running good for memorial day. Thanks in advance.

Well, my dad always told me that once you let the smoke out of it, something's gotta be replaced or fixed...
I'm not a turbo expert, but isn't there oil circulating though the turbo to keep it cool? White smoke may be oil burning; possibly getting in at your turbo. Checked the oil and/or plugs yet for signs of oil loss or burning yet?
Another thing it could possibly be is running rich. Is it only under acceleration or just while cruising?
