well i dunno i got a performance chip on ebay, and while it doesnt give me the 'INSTANT HORSEPOWER INCREASE! WILL THROW YOU BACK IN YOUR SEAT!' feeling, it helps me up hills. my only complaint is that it makes the engine eat gas. i mean i get about 16 in the city, when i have the chip on, i get 8-10. so caveat emptor, my friend.
