whirring knock in my 22re

My whirring noise remained and got a little louder....but I just blew a head gasket. It still ran strong. Maybe it was the gasket slowly going all of this time. Anyway I had to let the truck go and I bought back my 88 4 runner...I do miss my truck though. I will never know what the noise was related to.
