whining front end

whining front end
Ok, had toyota dealer replace front pinion seal around christmas. Now when
locked in, the front end whines a bit, usually when coasting to a stop or downshifting. The ice here is pretty thick so I have kept it locked in, so I can shift into 4hi when needed. Anyone think I should be concerned or am I just being an old lady?
