where are the terminals
where are the terminals you need to jump when timing the engine? the chilton's book i have says its on the inside of the passenger fender but i don't see anything resembling what they have

what kaind of truck do you have. it is usually on the pass fender somewhere under the hood. it is the diagnostic port, and i beleive it is e1 to te1. look for the diag. port neer the fuse box. it will be gray w/ a flip open top.

i found the terminals, and i *tried* to set the timing at 5. it would only get to 8 before i had to change the alignment to the camshaft, not whe won't even start? i'm confused
