where is the temperature sensor?

ummmm, you'll probably going to find 3 sencors on that puppy..
what one are you talking about; for the gauge, the ECU, or the cold-start valve?
the gauge is a single wire, located between intake runner 2 and 4 on the intake manifold, up close to the cyl head
the other two face forward and have a clip-in plug that have 2 wires

temp sensor... hmm... at least 3 sensors I know of refered to as temp sensors.....
the one for the gauge is on the intake manifold, threads in vertically, behind the thermostat, between #2 and #3 intake runners, has one wire....
the one for the ECU is on the intake manifold, but up in front, and threads in horizontally from the front of the engine and is usually 'green' in color (the black one should be the cold start injector time switch)
the last one is inside of the AFM and is not replaceable by itself.

Abe- I want to test the sensor that sends to the ECU. I had to replace it when the original broke in half during an engine replacement. I have been having problems since and want to rule out that sensor. Can you help with info on how to test? Do I compare ohm reading cold and then norm oper temperature?
