Where is the best place to mount a A/T cooler for a 92Runner?

I think he means in front of the radiator. That's where most peeps put them.

Considering the stock cooling for the ATF went through the radiator, just about anywhere in front of, or behind the radiator will work, but if you want the ATF as cool as possible, either before the radiator or below it (behind the skid plate maybe?) would work.
Atf doesn't work well if it's too cold and burns up quickly if it's too warm, which is why it's routed through the radiator "stock" so the coolant can warm it up quickly and can absorb extra heat when the ATF gets too hot.

I don't see how you would put one behind the radiator, since the fan and fan shroud is there. Now I have put one or 2 between the radiator and the AC condenser before.
