where to find 89 FSM?

I found links online for the FSM, but where does one find a hardcopy of the FSM to keep under my seat? I have a haynes manual (not the best) and it's falling apart. It's probably as old as the truck is, or at least it looks it.

I've been looking at bookstores online and amazon.com and even sites that specialize in FSM and I can't find one for my truck.

I would set up a search in ebay that will automatically email you when the manual you want comes up for auction. I don't think there are any right now, but it will come around eventually.

Wow. Ebay has come a long way. I never knew there was such a feature. That's awesome. I'll be sure to do that.

I found a site that has FSM for about every other yota but mine (or similar to mine) and the manuals are about $89. Is this about the price range?

PDF is good to review before the repairs, but when your hands are greasy and oily, it's best to keep them away from the laptop keyboard. This is where I'd rather have a paper version to go over.

Is the Haynes manual bad? I have a Chiltons and I've found a few discrepancies with it.

e-bay's auction where I got mine '89 genuine factory manual two volume set. Just have to be patient. I think mine was about eighty bucks all-in-all.

The ebay prices can vary widely. Recently, I saw a set for my '93 T100, including the FSM and Electrical manual go for under $20 each, shipped. I have had a set for quite a while, and they weren't that cheap when I got them.

Dave,
What I did was download the pdf version to a disc. Now all I need to do is either print it all out at work (so I don't have to buy paper and ink) or take it a Kinkos type place. I know at Kinkos you can get it printed front and back and then bound together. Don't know the price but it might be worth it.
