Where does this wire go?

I don’t think it’s necessary for the truck to run but, I really want to know what it is. I’m pretty sure I ran the truck with it just hanging there but it has been so long I can’t be sure.

I believe it is an oil gauge of some kind and something else? I cannot find this sensor on my current engine. It is an engine from a 1990 4Runner and it is the wiring harness from my truck 1989 pickup 3vze 4wd. Was this sensor deleted? Moved?

Disreguard how my engine bay bay is a mess. This will all be addressed in time. I’m currently waiting on some extra cash to get a battery, and hoses and so on. But I thought I might as well ask since this wire is bothering me.

Rubber boot in the one pic was on the one wire. Red arrow in the one pic shows where wire comes from. Wire splits into two connectors.

Oh I bet it goes to an a/c part, I took the a/c out.. can I delete my own thread? Sorry for even asking this question in the first place. There was a time when I ripped a 3vze down to the crankshaft and had it up and running again all within 36 hours including 8 hours of sleep. But it has been a while. I just need to refresh my memory.. thanks
