I tore my interior appart minus the dash. Bench seat out, carpet removed and shampooed, washed my seat belts in detergent (the look and funtion brand new now). I hosed out the cab real well and put everything back.

The problem is the rear panels around the XtraCab windows and back panel are super brittle and fadded. Can these be bought new somwhere as an aftermarket item? If not where is a good place to look?

I was thinking of covering them in vinyl if I can make the bends with a heat gun. The problem is the plastic is so fragile i'm afraid ill break it. I was thinking of adding a layer of biaxial fiberglass over it to strengthen it before upholstery.

Has anyone ever done this or something similar? I want to get this interior back together.

You can search at wrecking yards for trim pieces, purchase some of them from the dealership if they are still available, or see this.....
