If you have the money ARB is very nice especially if you drive it on the street. Here is a review I wrote about Lock-Rite other auto lockers are similar http://www.gentryoffroad.com/php/gen...view/lockrite/

ARB's are best in the hands of professionals. Even "pro's" fubar it alot.
To see what is involved, check out Master Zuk's website: GearINstalls.com

Aussie lockers are a no brainer, even I did it.

any idea on the cost or hours required to install a 8" rear air locker? and can you use the compressor to fill your tires or a tank?

Bah, unless you know how to setup gears (doesnt sound like you do) your going to NEED to take your rear diff to a shop and have them set up/ install the ARB.

Seriously

The cost is going to be substantial unless you know someone and can work a deal.

I believe the compressor can indeed be used to air up tires, just be sure to install an air tank to make it easier to air up.

$300 + to set up an ARB. Yes you can use an ARB compressor to fill tires (with the proper set up)

start calling shops in your area.
