When CEL is on the engine is lugging

I rebuilt the heads on my 3.0. I think it was running on only 3 cylinders. Since I have had it back to gether the CEL is coming on. the engine seems to be lugging. There has been a time or two when the CEL was off and the engine had great accelaration. I pulled the codes a week ago and they said 25. since then I have had the intake off trying to fix a vacuum leak. In the process I broke the sensor on the back of the block that has the two blue post coming out of it. I found one at a junk yard and put it back together. Now I get a code of 15 and 24. I do not even think there is a code 15. I am going to pull out the O2 sensor and try to clean it and see if that helps. Any ideas what those codes are?

Not sure about the V6, but I know that the CEL on mine (until I got if fixed), will retard the timing....causing that sluggish feel...especially under acceleration and going up hills.

Gotta get rid of the CEL by fixing whats wrong.

As for the code, code 15 has no code on its toyota manuel so check what is the exactly code it giving, about code 24 it is, System Effected *Intake Air Temperature Sensor Signal - Possible Cause *Intake Air Temperature Sensor or circuit, ECU.

My engine light was for the knock sensor. But I think any code will retard your timing.

Gotta get that code out or it'll never run or time right.

It was the knock sensor. Also I figured out that my vacuum leaks could have been from the injectors not being seated good enough. My mechanic say they should always be given a turn while being inserted. Preliminary gas milage is showing around 16.
