Wheel question. Need help

Does any one know if the spare tire rim off a gmc/chevy truck will fit the hub of a 86 pickup? I ask cause I found that the spare tire rim on GM half ton trucks and suv's is a 6 bolt 17" steel wheel. Just curious if any one has used one on there 4runner or pick up. If they do work I might look at finding some so I can up to a 17" wheel

No you would have to get the center bored out larger to fit over the hub.

You can have a machine shop or rim shop bore them out. That adds to the cost though.
