Greg,
I'm kinda the same way on aftermarket lights. However, they're super cheap ($40 on ebay item #180181242397), and the output on these are awesome, especially the backup lights. That alone makes em' worthwhile to me.
Here's a better shot of the rear. Notice I also removed most of the badging (V6, SR5, stock 4Runner badging, etc) and replaced the rear window key switch with a power outlet. Going for the 'clean' look like you

4runner update from posts #268 & #320 - new front bumper
pics my friend Chris Daley took at the Mt Hood Rally where I was Sweep #995. This was my 4th rally as a sweep driver
On the way out to Hood River after work on Friday
at camp, cooking breakfast on the tailgate before heading out for the day
Stage 3 Fir Mountain, flat towing a Subie with a smoked clutch off stage and back to Service

I am in love with that truck and what you're doing with it. That looks like so much fun! That front bumper is a perfect fit, aesthetically. Do you have any more photos from that event?

Just got my roofrack on. It's a Surco rack from Summit Racing. I modified the mounts to both match the roof slope, as well as lower the rack 1". I then mounted the rack with 5/16 well nuts (both seal and mount at same time). I also added the front light mount using aluminum from Lowes. Overall about 225.00 spent for the mod.
I need to get better pics, but these are some quickies.
