What size are the front bumper bolts??

I have to order these bolts to install a new bumper and I am not in a postition to go out to the truck and look. I only have internet pictures to looks at.

Anyone know the right size bolts that go in the mounting location for the bumper in this picture as mine is similar?

The bottom ones along the crossmember. Looks like a total of 6

What kind of bumper? Unless you added the 2 top ones with a frame brace (recommended) your 92 only has the 4 lower bolt holes...

Most aftermarket bumpers for 3rd gens also have 2 holes on each side by the body mount for side support.

You can order them from the dealer cheap. IIRC those are M12 and M10 x 1.25

Red face

Pointe Products has JIS bolts.( Japanese Industrial Standards) A search for JIS bolts will turn up quite a few vendors.

Also the hardware from the dealer as Wabbit said is not expensive!!

Those threads often get gunked up from lack of use as do any 20 year old threads.
New bolts from the dealer and chase a metric tap through there with some lubricant and it makes things go together SO much easier. A little extra effort but well worth it if you are going to keep the vehicle for the duration.

You want 10.9 grade bolts. McMaster Carr has them but the dealer can order them too easily.
