It shows as a separate part for 89-95 trucks, I don't see a part# for pre-'89s?

Part# for 89-95 is 65240-89000. I see sills being sold on EBay as Part 65240-90K00, but they really don't specify the year that it fits?

To answer your original question, that part is not part of the frame or the bumper, but just part of the bed assembly and Paul22RE is right on the part name.

That is a replaceable part, but is spot welded in from the back side.

There were two different sills for the 1984-1988 Trucks: the USA built beds and the Japanese built beds.

All 4 Wheel Drive trucks in the US came with the USA version.

The part number for the USA version is 65240-87308-02 but has been discontinued.

You might be able to straighten out your existing one if it is not too damaged.
