what other bucket seats will fit
I have a 94 reg cab 5speed truck with the bench seat. I have been encouraged by some forum members to install some bucket seats. What else fits besides 90-95 4runner and 89-95 ex cab trucks. Thanks

I just installed some Recaro SE's. Install was a snap. I thought that there would be drilling involved. However with the Recaro brackets there were no drilling whatsoever. All I had to do was cut out a piece of carpet for the front inside bolt and all everything else lined up perfectly. The only con with these seats is that I now sit a little higher than before. But all in all it's the best thing I bought for my truck.
Now all I need to do is find a center console for the gap between the seats, but I actually like the little storage space I have in between now.
Recaro Bracket # for my 94 Pickup 2WD Standard Cab is 1.90.3 (driver) and 2.90.3 (passenger).

I bought my seats form Speedware Motorsports. They were having a sale a couple months back and picked up a complete package for about $800.00 if I remember correctly. It came with 2 seats, 2 sliders, 2 brackets all of which were from recaro. I know that they have custom brackets if recaro doesn't offer them.

I too, would ask the same question. I have some recaros, but they have different sliders. Unfortunetly, if you get some seats with bigger bolsters it makes it much harder to get into your lifted truck, not to mention wear out the seats.

It really depends on whether they have to bolt up directly or not. I just fit some seats from an older BMW in my 1st gen, but I had to cut out the riser and drill some new holes. They are sweet, leather, heated, electric! However, the huge side bolsters are a pita to slide over to get in, it is completely worth it once you are in though!

If your butt is not to wide late 80's to early 90's Toyota MR2 seats are a cute addition. About 20% smaller and easy to make fit.
84 - 88 truck buckets will go in but mounting points are all a quarter inch tighter. Bolt the inner front as normal and use large fender washers to clamp down the edges of the other 3 mounting points.
Cheapest way is 90 to 95 4runner SR5 with worn drivers seat that can be repaired with material from rear seat or covers replaced from a passenger seat.
Get the center female seatbelt ends.
