Question What gears do i have?

Hey all,
i have a 95 4runner 3.0 4x4 auto and i have herd that my rig comes stock with 4.88 and ive also herd that i have 4.10 so im not sure does anyone know what i have?

if you have the 31'' tire package than you would have 4:88s but it sounds like you have 4:10s

Does a manual 31'' package have 4.88s also? I thought I had 4.10s and was going to put in like a 4.56 to bump it a little but no go drastic that wouldve sucked lol.

the manual has 4.56 the auto has 4.88

oy people, so much misinformation just in this thread alone!!

Get the rear axle code, located on the information sticker on the left front door. You will see A/TM. That is Axle code/Transmission Code. You are looking for the Axle code. Get that, and I can tell you what gear ratio you are running. Or, click HERE for the info

'95 Autos very rarely...if EVER used a 4.10 ratio in 1995. Most were 4.88, and some were 4.56.
