OK, since my last question was answered I've ordered a new RF1A 'geared' t-case 'bomb proof' mount and on to my next dilema...... I now need to replace at least one of my disc brake calipers due to rust/seizure, etc. Someone put a really nice kit on the rear of this beast and one friend said it looked like Monte Carlo calipers and he knew right off they were adapters because him and his family are in the monster truck scene. . My mechanic suggests of all the photos he went through, it best matches a 1994 Chevy LLV Postal truck caliper. I don't know but I've been doing my own search and the LLV Postal truck is real close. I found another kit that I suspect is newer and non welded (unlike mine that are welded),that matches my calipers. What is a Toyots Hilux????? I see reference to Hilux but don't know what that is. Maybe an suv or something. I suspect my frame is a 1991 -92 Toyota 1/2 ton pick-up but not sure which pick-up as I've been told that Tacoma came after that date. I've taken a few photos in hopes that someone can either recognize the kit on my ride, or what calipers I can use and what science will it take to figure out what calipers will work besides bold spread. This is the 6 X 5.5 bolt pattern. I've also not seen adapters today, welded like mine and I suspect this was put together around 2000 or so..Thanks for looking. Scott

OK, I just did another search and the calipers used are for the following vehicles>> Part # 184071CB ( as stamped on the caliper) << >> 1978-1987 Buick Regal, 1978-1988 Monte Carlo, 1975-1978 Nova, 1978-1981 Cutlass, and 1978-1987 Grand Prix. I don't know the manufacturer of the kit but I can find my caliper now!!!
