What Do You Make Of These 2 H2O Pumps

They are both for my truck. Both from O'rielly's. The cause of my over heating problems was from a clogged radiator, less than 18 months old. The guy at the store said it might have been boxed wrong.

Bottom line. My heating probs are over.

They both look correct. Just different impeller designs.

both are correct, but from experience on other vehicles, the thicker fins on the cast impeller designed ones cause cavitation, which will prevent any water from flowing, and cause over-heating, MOST of the time, not always the case though

I think it's the GM 4cly 2.2l that are bad about that...

The pump on the left is the corect water pump, the one on the right is junk with a poor impeller design, meaning it won`t flow as much water as the one on the left with the proper impeller design
