Exclamation What did I do what did I do!!!

One of my injector seals was leaking, so I decided to replace it. Now the thing won't start. It ran perfectly before, no problems, just the leak.

I'v done this several times before, it's not rocket science. I retraced my steps over and over again: all hoses are back in the same spot, everything is torqued, fuel rail all seem back together fine. I must have forgotten something. Help!!

ground wire is definetly connected. It turns over just fine. I must have done something to the injecter connections.

I was just outside working on my 86 runner on the injectors as well. My ground wire wasnt connected, and it turned over fine..but the injectors wouldnt work...then i hooked the ground wire up to the intake, and they worked...maybe its loose?..just another shot in the dark. Good luck

or u can try to disconnect your battery for a couple of min to reset the comp... hope this helps!!

Check the ground. It may look good but check it with an ohm meter to be sure.

Does it trun over? Did you gut excess fuel into the cyl and hydro lock it?
If it does turn over, will it start with starting fluid? If not, check spark.

Wait, are we all talking about the ground at the bottom of the intake? Between the bolt and the intake? I'll check again. It's worth a third look.

What should the ohm meter say?

With the ignition on your injectors should have 12v between them (either terminal, pick one) and ground. If you don't have 12v here, you probably fried and EFI fuse - start looking for fuses.

If you have 12v, you need a ground pulse to fire the injectors. You can check this if you have a 12v light you can put across both injector terminals.
It should light while cranking.

The plug for the sensor just behind the air intake. Without the computer being able to read the air flow it won't fire or may but run very poorly.

I'd double check your fuses as well... do you happen to have any codes flashing??

I can't see what your refering to( behind the air intake). I'll look again.

No codes. How could I test the fuel pressure regulator?
