WOW Looks like a single cab version of my 86 x-cab when I got it. Had the same factory color and graphics, and rust in the same spots of bed to beat all LOL

It had chrome bumpers and grill, had the black end caps on it but slowly working on it. Dont have garage so its a little rough to work outside in the cold. Did enough of that when I first got the truck at 19. Going to do a SAS, hoping by this spring i will have the parts to do that. Then get the new body parts and then to my buddys garage and testing our painting skills. Gonna use dupli color paint shop most likely. Might just shaker can it

X4 ON THE BEDLINER!!! i had used raptor liner brand from tptools.com, on my 1985 nissan king cab i had for a short period of time (its life was taken about a month ago in our house fire) and it was easy, tough, and looked awesome. thats my plan on my 86 r-te, better than the rattle can primer job it has at the moment from the p.o.

Believe it or not, white is actually pretty clean and it hides a lot of imperfections.

Bed liner is horrible for dirt. Mud sticks to bed liner like glue ... Most bedliner fades as well, and it's usually porous so you can't just paint over rust or bare metal..

Didn't stop me from painting my entire bed in bedliner though .. then over most with red. red top, black bottom..
