Just keep in mind that German vehicles aren't as reliable as you'd think they would be, and unless you are getting significantly better gas mileage, will you realize any savings from purchasing a vehicle for increasd fuel mileage. PLUS Golf's are for chicks.

Is the Golf a diesel? Sure would be a good car for the long drives. Too bad you couldn't just put the yota in storage but I definately understand the need for money as I'm going back for round two of college here in a few weeks. But thats why I put a diesel in my toy.

Too late, we already know you are getting a golf!

As for your truck, its up to you what you want to ask for it. ALWAYS start out at a higher number than what you want. Remember, you can always come down on price, but you can NEVER go up.

the fact that its a 20+ yr old vehicle, you wont get much for it, considering how much time/money youve put into it. so w/e a stock 86 ext cab goes for is about what youll get.

youll be back to yotas, dont worry tacoma

I'll trade you a 2wd xtra cab long bed DLX p/u in really good shape!

I'd try $3,500 and let the buyer try and work you down. That's the way I would go. Or take what you want/expect to get out of it and use that for a starting point. Flame on, YT, I'm just trying to help him out.

ive seen lesser trucks get over 7k here in WAshington.

keep it high,
laugh off the clowns.
money is funnier when you have more.
and
considering how the interior looks, im sure someone will at least offer 5k for it if you are insistant on 7k.

wait for cash or money order, or do it at a bank.
gotta protect yourself.

im selling my 86 soon, so i can keep my 88 3.0 in top shape.
and
my bmw cabrio is a chick magnet, german cars are awesome.

From a mechanic to another fellow yota person: DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT under any circumstances buy a VW. They are JUNK! At least buy another yota or a nissan or even a honda before you even consider anything else.

Oh and I think you can fetch like 7-8k.. Still I dont get why your selling your truck, you barely offroad cause you dont go out to offroad parks where us real 4x4 guys go.

I'd pay $3,000 or less...especially since it has a 3.8L Buick in it
