Well done and congrats!! I hope she lives a long and healthy life. Real interested to know if you examined the offending head for leaks, cracks, corrosion, etc... ?? Also, where did you get your new head? Thanks.

 

Got the head as a package on eBay for 300.00 shipped with a cam to my door came with all the gaskets as well, I couldn't tell ya where the head came from because I was told that most of the aftermarket castings are actually the same no matter where you buy them from. So I wasn't as concerned with finding a specific kind of head, they all ended up looking the same to me.
