weather strip for removable top

Any one have a good replacement for the weather stripping on our removable tops ??? its no longer available through Toyota ????

I checked yesterday when I was at the dealer. They told me it was discontinued. I haven't found it online yet.

you might want to check Toyotapartszone.com i know they have alot of parts for the first gens havent checked for the weather stipping yet though

I had a local body shop guy here say that he's adapted the weather stripping from a 1980's Bronco (readily available in the aftermarket) to work on these. I haven't looked into it or tried it to confirm.

If you have remnants of the old weatherstripping try to compare them with weatherstripping sold by the foot in the McMaster-Carr catalog. Let the rest of us know how it works out!
