Washer Pump Questions
My washer pump on my 93 3.slow started leaking and I went to the nearest Toyota dealer and they priced a new pump at $70. I was wondering if anyone new anywhere to get a cheaper washer pump and how to keep the pump from getting torn apart from, Im guessing, battery acid.

Yep, they go bad! Go to the salvage yard! much cheaper!
Even Autozone, Checker...! Don't waste your money on a Toyota Part when you don't have to! Spark plugs, electronic parts...., yes! Washer pump? No!

Go to Napa or any other big name auto parts house and you can get one for about $20.
I just bought two of them, one for the front and one for the rear of my 4runner. The aftermarket ones are all plastic and won't come apart like the OEM's. Make sure you get the new gromets too. Mine came with the pump but some brands don't. They both work great, no problems at all and much cheaper than Toyota.
