Winch depot has them for cheap prices.

If money isn't an issue, i would say go with the 9500I

As for the ones you posted, you dont want the 24V since you dont have a 24 volt system. I also do not know what the CE stands for. The only difference between the 20910 and he 26502 is the fairlead and the wire length.

Don't get the one with a roller fairlead if you want to use a synthetic winch rope. Don't get the 9500i or any model with an " i " if you have an ARB or TJM bumper.

thanks josh and mt. goat
josh I looked into the model you mentioned, do you mean the 9.5xp? I am prob. wrong, but I think that only winches with removable solenoids can fit in the tjm t15. I think that limits the choices to the
m8000, xd9000 and 9.5xp. I need to research more about these 3. I know 2nd gens are heavier but dont know how heavy when loaded and with bumper and skid/xmember
def yes on synthetic rope, glen yoshida advised me to go with samson technora tech12 line which has a high melting pt. seems excellent. I think it's cheaper to buy a hawse fairlead separately than to buy the integrated hawse winch, but need to do more research.

I probably wouldn't use the Warn hawse fairlead either with a synthetic rope, if they still make them out of cast iron. You want an aluminum hawse fairlead so its nice and smooth for the rope. But if Warn includes a fairlead might as well get the cheaper of the 2.

I came across another winch that might fit in the tjm t-15. It's interesting because it's a powerful Warn, and it looks like it has a detachable solenoid so it could fit in a tight place.
It's also nice because it comes stock with synthetic line and an aluminum hawse fairlead, so I wouldn't have to worry about selling the stock metal line and rollers. The winch is called the

Well, its really light, really small, really powerful and really expensive...Lots of comp buggies and Sammys run them because they can fit into pretty small spaces and are so light...They also come with syn rope

I would run one if I could afford it

prices from 500-1050 on a warn winch

I called winch depot and had a chat, he recommended that the winch be about double the weight of the loaded vehicle. I haven't weighed it yet but checking other 2nd gen weight posts shows that they're really close to 4000lbs when loaded. Of the 4 that fit the t-15 they range in price from 539-1049. would the 9000, 9.5xp or 9.0rc have any benefits that would justify the extra $ or should I just shut up and get the 8000 already? I am happy at least the choice is down to these 4, I gave up on MM after reading all the torture tests and other reviews here and on pirate etc.

I run a Warn XD9000 on my 1st gen:

It works fairly well, although I stalled it out the first time I used it winching myself out of some deep wet snow.

thanks 4crawler, snow is one of the considerations for me, I will be North and deep in it! Also mud and ice. Would you have been happy with an 8000 or are you glad you got the 9000? last question, would you have spent the extra to go 9.5xp if it had been available? I see it appears to be more waterproof, but I have not heard of any m8000 or 9000 getting wet yet, this might be a sales gimmick. (Full face contact drum seals, motor and end housing gaskets deliver extreme-duty water resistance) .I would like to buy a winch once and never ever think about it again
