Wabfab's Shifter Bushing...

Maybe I'm going blind and crazy, but I caint find it! And I need to buy that and a slave cyl ASAP.

Hope these two things are what's causing my shifting issues. I REALLY don't wanna replace a clutch right now. Trying to save money for the dream yoter that I've found, but need to replace this stuff cause, well, it's my DD...

Anyhoo... Anyone have a link to his shifter bushing?

And since I'm sittin here waitin, yall think the clutch feeling like it aint engaging all the way, and trouble gettin it in gear are symptoms of slave and bushing, or clutch? I mean I caint even shift into reverse cause of the grinding, and I can "feel" the clutch not really opening ALL the way when I shift 1-5th, and I REALLY gotta pop it in gear cause of that bushing (hopefully). Been floatin 2-5th a hell of a lot lately, but I work in a high traffic area, so more often than not, I'm drivin in inch traffic...

It might be your shifter seat aswell.

Try the marlin crawler plastic unit, Im installing mine (along with their 1200lb semi metalic clutch AND shifter bushing) tomorrow.
My shifter has been VERY sloppy and somtimes hard to get in gear.. hoping it will fix it.

Should help with the sloppiness feeling, but I dunno if it'd really help with my issues. Really don't wanna replace the clutch seein as how I'll be sellin it here before too long, but since it's my DD, and it feels like its gonna give up the ghost sooner rather than later, guess I may have to.

But keep us posted on how your fix goes.

Wanna hear my dumb mistake when replacing my seat & bushing? I still have the stock floor covers so i couldnt see where i was pulling the shift boot from..

Turns out it was screwed into the little square frame that hold the shifter in place...I tore the hell outta the boot trying to get it off only to come to find that I just needed to unscrew 4 screws.

Damn.

Oh well

I know how ya feel. I completely destroyed the mounting hardware for the rear seats, trying to take em apart so I could put on some new straps that let you pull the lever that folds the seats. Got pissed off, drove to work, connected the 10ton crane's chain to it and ripped off both seats. Now I just gotta take the time to fab up some new "hinges" and weld em on. Now I drive around with the back seats out, with my spare chained up to my roll bar.

I aint the type to be beaten by a seat!

Yeah... Though I am prone be bein beatin by welder's burn. Sun burnt my eyelids today. Awkward place to get a sun burn. Not really a sun burn though, was weldin for a couple hours without my mask on. Damn eyelids... It buuurrrnnnnssss'sss! Lol. And awkward is a very awkward word.

The moral of the story is, always wear your rubbers. Boots that is. Cause the stock market could crash at any time. And you wouldn't want the queen of England walkin into your house now would you? Eh? That's why I always wear my seatbelt. But I agree, Rocky Road icecream is much better than just plain chocolate icecream.
