W56 Trans Help

I have a w56 and today the shifter got very very sloppy, i can move in 360 degrees basically, it svery hard to "find" gears, but if I have a little luck and dont press too hard into each gear it will go.

I took the shifter and housing off and it seems like the detent spring things, Im not sure what they are actually called, are worn badly and sticking so im hoping that by replacing them my tranny will start working correctly again, only problem is, is that I cant find them anywhere, anyone know who sells them?

Thanks

Check your shifter bushing. When they go, the stick moves all over the place making it hard to find the gears.

I did theyre still new and good, theyre the marlin crawler upgrade bushing, replacing the detent things is is the only thing i can think to do before i conclude that its a broken shifter rail, and pull the tranny

It doesnt grind at all, and it doesnt jump out of gear, if I manage to get it in gear a can move the shifter all around to pretty much all the other gears and it will stay in gear, it comes out if I go near neutral

Marlin Crawler might sell heavier duty detent springs. I don't remember. Failing that, you can still get them from the Toyota Dealership.
