W56 Noise (HQ Audio)

I recently changed the oil in my 4X4 W56 transmission and T-Case with Redline MT-90 GL-4 and after a few hundred miles my transmission is making some new noises. Anyone help me out here?

The oil change went well, both T-Case and transmission are filled to the proper levels. I am not sure what kind of oil was in it before I changed it though.

Wait for 5th gear is sounds like an ice machine

If its going to let go soon I hope it'll last the 5-7 weeks it'll take me to get a rebuilt from Marlin Crawler.

sounds like bearings to me. My trucks doing the same thing, t-case in neutrul, whole 9 yards etc, but its only whining as of now.

should be okay to drive lightly, but wheeling/romping might disturb it.

As for me, i'd ride it out as long as i can, they may be noisy, but as long as they're still there and no shafts are riding on metal/getting worn out you should be okay.

just keep an eye on it though, if one bearing just goes and leaves a shaft to ride on bare metal, you'd have all kinds of trouble.
