i have a 94 pick up 4x4 with a w56-e trans the other night i was going down the road and during the shift from 2nd to 3rd the trans wouldnt go into gear, i pulled over and tried to get it into first same result ive got play in the shifter in neutral it feels as if somethings not lined up anymore, when this took place i heard no noises or felt anything diffrent. i tried with the engine off aswell still no results. the clutch was replaced about 4 months ago and had no issues until the other day, does anyone know what could be the issue? is my trans shot?

 

w56-e? Is that a different trans then the w56? What motor you got 22re?
