Viberation 93 4x4 v6

Im getting a viberation in 4th gear from about 2500rpms to 3000rpms. and if you let off the gas it will stop or push in the clutch it will stop. Would this be a problem in the transmission? I dont know what else it would be any suggestions?

Did the vib start right when you lifted it? Or just start one day?

Jesus.... really. Not even relevant. He has a specific vibration in 4th gear at a certain rpm.
Not a cv shaft bearing vibration that would only be speed specific.

well to let you know that is when i noticed it vibrating as well was around 3000 rpm in fourth gear guess it could be a speed thing with a bearing not sure just stating what was going on with my 93 trying to be helpful.

sorry shoulda put it in the first post but didnt mine would only vibrate at that rpm and i think it has something to do with the torque because it did stop when u let off the gas or put in the clutch you could also feel it in fifth as well but by the time you get in fifth the whole truck vibrates anyway

and no is either driveshaft or transmission related, to narrow it down for the OP. Got one myself, Im actually not sure which one it is in my 01 taco. Got a 5th gear vib only below 50mph and only in 5th gear. I do think its u-joints because if I remove my drive shaft then stick it back in it goes away for a couple days. So I replaced the trans side u-joint, then stuck the drive shaft back in. No vib for a couple days then back again. Definently not trans in my case, but your prob does sound similar to mine.

edit: unless your doing 55 in 4wd.

Carrier bearing is a good thing to check also. But u-joints and carrier bearings are all hard to check with the DS installed. Your better off removing the DS and wiggling u-joints checking for smoothness.

Did some lookin under the truck. And Its the rear u-joint in the drive line. It has a two peice drive line. Is the extra cabs with a one peice drive line? I would rather have a one peice drive line.

update on this. I changed the u-joint today and took it for a drive. It rides super smooth now like a new 2012 yota
