Very loud front end
I have a 95 3vze with 127000 miles, it's got and ome leveling kit but stock front shocks and springs. Long story short; when I'm a full steering lock or close to it on flat ground my front end makes a very loud creaking sound and jolts as if my tires are jumping-but they're not. I've got newer cv's and the boots aren't ripped. Anyone have any idea what this is and if it's something to be addressed or left to the back burner? I've only ever had solid axle jeeps and they've never done this.
Thanks
Ben

It's most likely the steering stops. They have plastic caps that wear out (or are usually gone completely).
You can get new ones at the dealer or on e-bay.
Apply some grease (any kind) once a month to all 4 steering stops and the noises should go away.

Steering stops. Put some grease on them. Extremely common problem. Here's a pic of what you're looking at. There's a front and back steering stop for both sides. http://image.fourwheeler.com/f/31306...ering_stop.jpg
