Vent Window Hardware?

So somehow my vent window hardware on my passenger side managed to back out, fall off, and disappear. After a lot of searching, I've been unable to find anything I'm happy with online or at the hardware store. Anyone know where I could get some replacement hardware that doesn't look like a hack job?

I think the Toyota part numbers for this stuff is 67507D, 67507A, 65707C

You try the toyota stealership? I've got a LOT of hard to find parts there.
sometimes it's best if your setting down when they quote you a price, and ovations occasionally it's not that bad.
they can do a nation wide search.

I tried Parts.Toyota.com. I thought chances were slim that a dealer would have one laying around but I’ll call around and see.

I'm guessing you want 67550-89104 About $70. https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/sho...rimLevel=18380

The numbers you listed aren't part numbers, but call-out numbers on the diagram (there's a real name for that kind of number, but it escapes me at the moment). Those call-outs appear to be for components of the pivot mechanism. But if yours "backed out ... and disappeared," you might need all of them.

go to the local toyota parts guy
Give him the VIN and let him do HIS JOB and find the part for you.
I usually take the part if i can that I'm looking to replace or a picture of what and where is also helpful.

I haven’t had as much luck with parts counter guys in the past but will try a couple more dealerships. I just got off the phone with one that didn’t even want to hear my vin because it’s “too old, no way we’ll have it.”

Of course they're not going to "have it." It will have to be ordered. (Just because the part number exists doesn't mean it exists anywhere in the US, but the gal at the parts counter can determine that if you're not making her job too hard.)

I've had much better luck (at my brick-and-mortar dealer) by walking in with the drawing and my guess of part numbers (like I provided above), with my VIN written onto the drawing (as 87-4runner hints).

Back when everything was on microfiche counterpeople had to develop some true skills. These days, the epc's has really hurt the level of service and expertise. You see it at the chain stores, too.
I ordered all that vent hardware from McGeorge. screws, grommets and retainer. Even back when vent windows were sitting on new cars out on the lot we didn't stock that stuff. Not exactly a fast mover. And we could get from the Toyota warehouse in 24 hours.
